To mark World Gratitude Day, Donate Directly, the World First AI Charity Platform, is calling on people not to stop at naming what they're grateful for, but to put that gratitude into practice by supporting someone who needs it.
Observed each year on 21 September, World Gratitude Day gives people a reason to stop and recognise the people, opportunities and circumstances that improve their lives.
Donate Directly sees gratitude as more than reflection it's also about considering how what we have can be used to help someone else.
Iqrar Ul Hassan, founder of Donate Directly, said:
"Gratitude is more powerful when it inspires action. If we are fortunate enough to have food, clean water, shelter or security, we should think about how we can help someone who doesn't."
Donate Directly, recognised as the World First AI Charity Platform, uses technology and transparency to link donors directly with people and communities in need, giving supporters visibility into exactly how their donations help.
For World Gratitude Day, Donate Directly is asking people to consider three questions:
What am I grateful for?
Who has helped me get here?
What can I do to help someone else?
Saying "I'm grateful" matters. But turning that gratitude into action has the power to change someone's life.
