I’ve recently been experimenting with Android emulators like Anbox and Waydroid on Ubuntu 24.04 to run some of my favorite mobile apps. One app I use on my iPhone is Nix Injector iOS, which unlocks some extra features in games like Mobile Legends.
I was wondering — are there safe, open-source alternatives or reliable emulators that can smoothly run such Android apps (or their equivalents) on Ubuntu without security risks?
Would love to hear if anyone in the community has tried this or can suggest a secure setup.
