Winter was coming, and my college friends and I were really very excited about planning our holiday tour. Everyone wanted to go somewhere unforgettable, and after a lot of discussions, we finally decided on Rajasthan. Some of my friends suggested Shimla or Manali, but I convinced them that Rajasthan would be a magical experience, which is full of history, conspiracy, culture, tradition, retreat, and adventure. They knew that I was an expert in management and planning, so they trusted me and gave me all the responsibilities of the tour. After all the bookings and careful planning, our amazing winter trip began!
Planning the Perfect Trip
I knew that organizing a trip for a big group could be stressful, so I decided to make it easy for everyone. I contacted a travel planner and booked a group travel package for our winter Rajasthan trip for a week, which included 6 nights and 7 days. This way, none of us had to worry about hotels, transport, or sightseeing, as everything was taken care of in advance by tour planners. My friends were thrilled because they could just relax and enjoy the journey without any hassles or stress.

The Itinerary With A Mix of Culture, History, and Fun
Our adventure started in Jaipur, the famous Pink City. The moment we arrived, we were amazed by the grand forts, colorful markets, and delicious street food. We visited the Hawa Mahal, Amer Fort, and Jal Mahal, clicking tons of pictures and soaking in the royal vibes. The local markets were full of beautiful handicrafts, and we could not resist buying souvenirs for our families.
Next, we headed to Jodhpur, the Blue City. The Mehrangarh Fort left us speechless as it was so huge and had such fascinating stories! We also tried the famous Makhaniya Lassi, which was so rich and creamy that some of us ordered seconds.
From Jodhpur, our journey took us to the golden sands of Jaisalmer. The desert safari was the highlight of our trip. Riding camels, watching the sunset over the dunes, and dancing under the stars at a cultural night camp, this felt like a dream. We even tried wearing traditional Rajasthani outfits and took some hilarious group photos.
After Jaisalmer, we moved to Udaipur, the City of Lakes. The beauty of Lake Pichola and the grand City Palace made us fall in love with the place. We took a boat ride, enjoyed authentic Dal Baati Churma, and explored the local art galleries. Udaipur was so peaceful and romantic that we didn’t want to leave!

The Surprise Addition Was Chittorgarh
Since we had some extra time, I suggested adding Chittorgarh to our itinerary. After watching the movie Padmavat, we were all curious about this historic place. We have chosen the customized tour option and tailored the journey by adding a Chittorgarh to our tour itinerary. Visiting the Chittorgarh Fort was an emotional experience as it was about learning about the bravery of Rani Padmini, and the sacrifices made by the women of that time gave us goosebumps. The fort’s ruins, temples, and stories of Rajput valor made us appreciate Rajasthan’s rich history even more.
An Unforgettable Experience in Rajasthan
By the end of the trip, everyone agreed that Rajasthan was the perfect choice. The mix of adventure, history, and culture made it so much more than just a holiday. My friends kept saying, "Shimla-Manali is great, but Rajasthan is something else!"
From the lively streets of Jaipur to the peaceful lakes of Udaipur, every city gave us unique memories. The best part was that everything was pre-planned, and we had zero stress and could just enjoy every moment.
If you are also looking for a winter getaway that’s full of excitement, beauty, and history, I highly recommend a Rajasthan tour. Trust me, it’s an experience you’ll never forget!
