RSVSR Guide to Shrouded Sky New ARCs and Storm Loot

How The Storm Changes Your Runs

Visibility drops so hard you'll start navigating by silhouettes, muzzle flashes, and footsteps. You'll also find out fast that sprinting everywhere is a great way to announce yourself to people you can't even see. A lot of players are gonna try brute force, but it won't feel good. Slow it down. Use cover like it's your job. When the gusts kick up, you'll fight your aim and your movement at the same time, so short peeks and quick rotations beat long lanes. And yeah, flooding pressure is real—if you're taking your time, you'd better know your exit and have a backup route before the water does.

First Wave Caches And The Greed Problem

The storm digs up old First Wave Raider Caches, and they're exactly the kind of shiny bait that gets squads wiped. You'll spot the signs, you'll feel that itch, and you'll tell yourself, "Just one more room." That's how it goes. The smart play is to treat the cache like a noisy objective: assume someone heard you, assume someone's already watching, and clear in a tight loop instead of marching straight in. If you're solo, it's even more personal—grab the best piece, don't try to vacuum the place, and leave before the storm hands your location to the whole map.

Shani's Weather Monitoring Job And New ARC Threats

Back in Speranza, Shani's pushing a Weather Monitoring System so the next freak storm doesn't catch everyone flat-footed. It's a scavenger grind—specific materials, topside risk, repeat runs—but the rewards are the kind you actually feel, plus it bumps your standing in ways people notice. Meanwhile, ARC isn't playing nice. The Firefly's an armored flyer that throws flame, so if you hear it and you're in the open, you're already late—break line of sight and don't panic-shoot. Then there's the Comet, a rolling patrol sphere that turns into a seismic detonation if it locks you. If you see it, you don't "test" it. You reposition, you bait it, you live.

Free Surgeon Deck, New Looks, And A Risky New Zone

At least we're getting something that feels like a gift: the Surgeon Raider Deck, built around precision and keeping your nerve when things get ugly. You can earn Cred toward the Surgeon cosmetic and pick a cleaner Dr. Jekyll vibe or go full Mr. Hyde, and the new facial hair finally lets your Raider look like they've survived a few storms. The Dam Battlegrounds also gets a high-security slice marked by that Rocketeer chandelier—big risk, big payoff, and plenty of ways to get ambushed when the wind's screaming. Go in with a plan, go in light, and make sure your loadout fits the weather and your ARC Raiders gear doesn't tempt you into staying one minute too long.
