U4GM How to Wrap Up 1st Inning Before 2nd Inning Drops

Miss the last stretch of the 1st Inning path and you're not just losing a few throwaway rewards. You're giving up packs, XP, and a pile of value that can set up the next program properly. With the reset coming on April 10, 2026, now's the time to clean it up. A lot of players get distracted by previews for the next drop and forget what's still sitting there. If you're low on coins, even a small reserve of MLB stubs can help you finish collections faster, but the bigger point is this: most of the remaining progress can be done way quicker than people think.

Start with the free progress

The simplest missions should go first. Buy two cheap common cards and the collect-two-items task is done almost instantly. No grind, no stress. After that, head into Diamond Quest for the 10 hits. Don't overthink it. Just swing early, stack contact bats if that feels easier, and get those knocks out of the way. Then handle the nine innings pitched requirement in Ranked or Co-Op. It doesn't need to be pretty. A lot of people avoid this because they assume it has to be a sweaty session, but innings are innings. You can finish it just by staying in the game and letting the mission track.

Why Mini Seasons saves so much time

If you want the fastest path through multiple objectives, Mini Seasons is where things start moving. The custom stadium trick still works wonders. Search Homer Haven by GomesDaLegend and use it there. The walls are tiny, which means routine fly balls start turning into cheap homers. That's perfect for clearing the five home runs objective without forcing it. Better still, you're also earning program XP from the win itself. It adds up fast. This is also the best place to stack progress. Bring hitters from the same club, work on Team Affinity at the same time, and let one game do the work of two or three separate grinds.

Don't ignore the awkward missions

Battle Royale scares people off, mostly because the mode can get rough in a hurry. Still, the 2,000 PXP mission is more manageable than it looks. PXP keeps building even if your run is a mess, so there's no point backing out from it. Just keep playing. The same goes for the WBC content. Those moments matter, and collecting the three WBC bosses gives you a 30,000 XP voucher that carries into the 2nd Inning program. That's a huge boost. Also, if the XP path disappears from your quick menu, don't assume your account bugged out. Usually it's just a visual issue. Back out of Diamond Dynasty, load back in, and it should show up again.

Set yourself up before the next drop

The market usually gets soft right before a new inning starts, and that's exactly why this window matters. First Inning cards tend to dip because everyone's looking ahead instead of finishing what's already available. That creates a good chance to grab missing WBC pieces or anything else you still need at a lower price. If you played the previous game, check your inbox too, because loads of people forget about the Now & Later rewards and leave free stuff unclaimed. Get the path wrapped up, sit on your packs if you want fresh-pool odds when 2nd Inning arrives, and make sure you're carrying enough Diamond Dynasty stubs into the next phase so you're not scrambling on day one.
