The International Conference on Mathematical Modeling in Computational Intelligence and Generative AI (Math-CIGAI 2025) was hosted by KL University from July 17-18. It aimed at bringing together a global community of AI experts, researchers, and academicians for two days of innovation-driven dialogue.
The event took place at the university’s Bowrampet campus and provided an excellent opportunity to discuss developments in mathematical modeling, optimization strategies, and the growing impact of Generative AI, especially in the healthcare sector. The main sessions were focused on medical image generation, disease diagnostics, data augmentation, and privacy preserving, leveraging AI solutions.
Prominent speakers such as Prof. Dipti Prasad Mukherjee of the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, and Prof. Young-Cheol Byun of Jeju National University, South Korea, honored the event. Further, delegates and advisors from the United States, Italy, Turkey, Sweden, China, Nepal, South Korea, and Australia shared their expertise at the conference.
Speaking during the inauguration, Er. Koneru Lakshman Havish, Vice President, KL University, said, “Math-CIGAI 2025 opens a vital dialogue between technology and society. The conference was organized under the direction of Dr. L. Koteshwara Rao, Principal, KLH, and with assistance from a group of faculty members and convenors. In order to encourage multidisciplinary research, the conference featured panel discussions, keynote addresses, paper presentations, and networking opportunities.
