Kling 4.0: Turn Your Story Illustration into a Short Teaser

AI !Публікація містить зображення, або фрагменти тексту, створені за допомогою штучного інтелекту

Your story illustration already sets the mood. Now you need a short video for the release announcement—but what should actually move?

Choose a detail that makes someone pause: an envelope slipping under a door, a curtain shifting, or a light appearing in an empty room.

The Kling 4.0 page describes image-based video generation and motion guidance. Here is a scene plan you can prepare for that workflow. Check the model and image-input options in the generator before starting; this example is a proposed approach, not a tested result.

Find the question inside the illustration

Imagine an original illustration of a flower shop after closing. A bouquet sits on the doorstep, with a blank card tucked between the stems.

The loose edge of its paper wrapping lifts in the breeze, then settles. The shop stays dark. Nobody collects the flowers.

The movement draws attention to something already in the picture: a bouquet that seems to have been left behind.

Use a detail that matters in your chapter. If readers follow the teaser to your story, the scene should feel connected to what they find there.

Write the movement before generating

Use artwork you created or have permission to animate. Before uploading it, write down one thing that moves and three things that should stay unchanged.

For the flower-shop example:

  • Moves: the loose edge of the wrapping paper.

  • Stays unchanged: the bouquet’s position, the closed doorway, and the illustration’s style.

That becomes a focused prompt:

Keep the camera fixed. A gentle breeze briefly lifts the loose edge of the bouquet’s paper wrapping, then lets it settle. The bouquet remains on the doorstep. Preserve the original drawing style, colors, and composition. Keep the shop door closed and the lighting steady. No people enter. No added text.

When using the image-input workflow, start with a short duration available in the interface. Review this simple version before adding camera movement.

The prompt gives the model a direction. It does not guarantee that every detail will remain unchanged.

Check whether the clip is ready

Watch the exported video at normal speed, then pause near the beginning, middle, and end.

A usable first version should meet three conditions:

  • The bouquet, card, and doorway remain visually consistent.

  • The paper’s movement is noticeable and suits the drawing style.

  • The ending gives viewers a clear look at the subject.

Also check for invented events. Writing appearing on the card or a person entering the scene could suggest a plot point you never intended.

If details drift, reduce the requested movement. Once the clip passes these checks, move on to editing the announcement.

Compare one camera variation

If the fixed shot feels too distant, try a second version with a slow move toward the bouquet. Keep the other instructions the same so the comparison is useful.

Watch both clips at phone size. Does the closer view make the flowers easier to notice? Does it preserve enough of the shop to explain the setting?

Keep the version that communicates the scene clearly. A fixed shot may already do the job.

Give viewers a clear reading route

Add the story title and release information afterward in a video editor, where you can control spelling and placement.

Use an existing empty area if the text fits comfortably. If the illustration is crowded, follow the clip with a simple end card containing the title and “Read the opening chapter.”

For this fictional scene, a short line over the video could read:

“The shop is closed. The flowers are still waiting.”

The accompanying post should identify the work directly:

“A short glimpse into [Story Title]. The opening chapter is now available: [reading link].”

Replace the placeholders with your actual title and reading destination. Keep the link in the post rather than relying on viewers to catch it inside the video.

For your first Kling 4.0 attempt, prepare one original illustration, one moving detail, and three details to preserve. Use that small plan to guide the generation—and stop once you have a clear, consistent clip that introduces your story.
