Oleksandra Mriyna was born on 21 July 2000 in Poltava. She started writing poetry relatively recently, in 2021. Her poems were published in the almanacs ‘Alexandria Lighthouse’ and ‘Without You’. In 2025, the publishing workshop Pantheon. Literature and Art" published the poet's collection ‘On the Tablets of a Stubborn Heart’. For Oleksandra Mriyna, poetry is the best way to capture memories and dreams, as well as to put into words the images that her imagination draws.
Woven into transparent memories
They are woven into transparent memories -
Cities and roads, people and names...
New spaces have already been opened up,
And my own heart is still a mystery.
Why is there no place in it for others?
I pass them by and forget them in a moment.
Let them be both smart and beautiful,7
And my heart is silent again in response...
You are my only fateful case,
You may be impossible, you may be a stranger forever...
But I am not able to find the end of love,
The soul has long loved to the limit...
