The conception of the Wikipedia community is completely wrong.

The whole idea of the community is to be a Wikipedian.

But people who have knowledge usually have other busyness than proving their knowledge to the Wikipedia community in endless and senseless discussions and getting banned after all.

Wherefore who knows nothing edits everything on Wikipedia.

So let's assume the situation:

I read an article.
I see that I can add some information.
I search for sources.
I register on Wikipedia and add it.

That's all: I have done my task.

Sure, another person can supplement what I added with additional information, or correct it, or find it completely wrong and remove it.

But typically, you see a communal wikimbecile that reverts added information with their typical WP:BLABLABLA meaning I have to prove to him that I am "not a camel" assuming his "good intentions". They call this participating in the community.

But what if I want to create a free encyclopedia, meaning to share my knowledge, but not to participate in the community?

So I think the procedure should be the following:

  • If the information is true it cannot be just deleted.

  • If you think that it has to be deleted, you have to discuss it and get approval.

  • And vice versa: you cannot just restore information if it is proven false.

Look at this craziness: a wikimbecile created his own fake institute and spammed his fake on dozens of wikis, but nobody banned him, they kept an obvious fake!

My "favorite" Ukrainian Wikipedia writes complete nonsense about the Glagolitic alphabet (like "The Ukrainian writers wrote in Glagolitic.") but it's impossible to remove it.

The biggest problem is focusing not on the creation of the encyclopedia but on the creation of the community. It looks somewhat like a cult.

And the belief that it's not the community that is responsible for the quality of Wikipedia, but everyone else. They typically say that if you don't like something, you should join the community and improve it.

And if you do, you can expect to be harassed and bullied by swarms of Lilliputian jobsworths.

Wikipedia is not a free encyclopedia.
